Where do the jets in IQJETS come from?
Aircraft certified to fly for IQJETS Charter clients are owned by corporations and high net-worth individuals and are hand-selected. These jets are managed by certified air operators according to civil aviation rule like EU-OPS1 or FAA part 135. IQJETS applies a rigorous approval process prior to certifying and working with each and every aircraft operator in our program.
What will I need to except for a private charter flight cost?
The price depends on your individual travel requirements. In general the costs are determined by your choice of plane type and the flight distance. IQJETS Charter is a pay as you go option that requires no large upfront capital investment. The trip quote that you agree to is comprehensive and transparent, ensuring no surprises on your invoice.
When can I book my private charter flight?
The booking can be made at very short notice - even within a few hours - provided that the departure airport and / or destination are not all too exotic (some countries demand time-consuming compliance with certain bureaucratic regulations). We recommend that you book at least a few days in advance to ensure a greater choice of aircraft types. This allows us to fulfill your entire travel requirements at the most favourable price. In principle: the sooner the better!.
What if I require ground transportation?

What required documentation do I need?
It is your responsibility to ensure that your passengers have the appropriate identification documentation required for the countries they will be visiting (i.e. passport, valid visa, birth certificate with raised seal or notarized, photo identification, etc). The operator can provide information on the required documentation. If passengers cannot provide appropriate documentation to their flight crew, they may not be permitted to board the aircraft.
In principle: the sooner the better!.
For expectant mothers
Please take note of the following regulations for expectant mothers beyond their 28th and 35th weeks of pregnancy:
28th week: No special documentation is required for expectant mothers up to the 28th week of pregnancy (approximately 12 weeks prior to the end of term).
Beyond the 28th week, a medical certificate from your doctor will be required and must be faxed or mailed to us prior to the flight. The medical certificate shall state: The passenger's term of pregnancy at the time of the flight(s). The date(s) of the flight(s) concerned 35th week:
Beyond the 35th week, expectant mothers are restricted to flights equal to or less than two hours in duration. 36th week: Beyond the 36th week, expectant mothers will not be accepted on any flights..
In principle: the sooner the better!.
How do I pay for my flight?
Payments can be made by bank transfer or by credit card (MasterCard, VISA, American Express). Please note that we levy a charge of 5 % on credit card payments. In order to avoid the 5% surcharge on direct credit card payments please use paypal. Invoices are issued in Euro. All payments must be received before the flight takes place.
Can I book more than one jet at a time?
Yes. IQJETS Charter can be a great solution if you need to book multiple aircraft at the same time.
How much luggage can I bring?
Luggage capacity varies by jet type. We request that our clients inform us if they are bringing large luggage items or many pieces of luggage. If needed, we will ensure that your jet has average or greater luggage capacity. Your Sales Director is always available to discuss your luggage requirements and recommend the best jet solution for your travel needs.
What if I want to bring my pets with me?
IQJETS Charter values the comfort and safety of your pet. We require that your pet is restrained for takeoff and landing, as well as during turbulent air conditions. Though most of our certified jets allow pets, please be sure to inform us at the time of booking of any pets that will be traveling with you. This way we can ensure proper carriers or restraints are in place for your flight.
Current EU regulations require pets to have a passport for travel between EU member states and a passport or health certificate for movement from a third country. In order to avoid delays, we recommend that you fax your Flight Services Team in advance all documentation for your pet contained within the pet passport, including the microchip ID, vaccination records and blood tests.
You can obtain a pet passport for your cat or dog by contacting a veterinarian in your home country. The procedures generally consist of:
1. having your pet microchipped;
2. having your pet vaccinated;
3. aranging a blood test;
4. obtaining documentation in the form of an EU pet passport.
Some countries, such as the United Kingdom, may also require that:
5) your pet is treated for tapeworm and ticks 24 - 48 hours before travelling; and
6) you sign a declaration of residency for your pet. Young pets which cannot be vaccinated yet may be allowed to travel without vaccination. If you are preparing your animal in a non-Ell-listed country you will need to obtain an official third country veterinary certificate, although please note that Gibraltar and Switzerland are also issuing passports.
When flying to the UK with your pet, you will be required to fly to Biggin Hill, London Heathrow, London Gatwick or Manchester, the only approved entry airports into the UK for pets being flown from outside the UK. After landing we would request that your pet does not leave the aircraft until collected by the Animal Reception Centre (ARC) staff. When collected from the cabin, your pet should be in a container, which can be its own container or one provided by ARC. Your pet will then be taken to ARC's facilities, which are not airside, for paperwork and clearance in accordance with the UK Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) guidelines. Our agents will, upon arrival of your flight, arrange the proper documents and procedures to clear your pet. It is not currently feasible at most of these airports for pets to be cleared at the aircraft, but we do not expect the process to take long if all documentation is in order and the original documents are carried by you on board the flight and presented to the ARC staff when they collect your pet..
What happens if I need to make a fuel stop?
We require advance notification if you intend to travel with sporting rifles or any other weapons or dangerous goods. The procedure is simple and as long as all documentation is on hand there should
be no difficulties, Please note that the ability to carry weapons into a specific airport is subject to that airport authority andjor police approval. Also note that it is preferable for us to receive copies of the documentation in advance of your flight in order to fax them to the authorities. This helps the security check process on departure andjor arrival to go more smoothly and quickly, During the check, passengers are required to show their documentation and present their weapons or dangerous goods, which will then be verified to match by security at the airport. The operator may carry such items only under the following conditions:
- The weapons shall be for sporting or competitive purposes only, Firearms used for personal protection (other than those used by professional bodyguards) do not fall within these provisions. The weapons and ammunition should be your personal property, and properly licensed as necessary by your country of residence, Weapons shall be unloaded and stored in proper gun-cases or bags, Handguns shall be packed in your baggage.
Ammunition shall be packed in your baggage, and your baggage placed in a separate baggage compartment, either external or inaccessible to the passengers in flight,
Ammunition may only be carried when securely boxed in quantities of 5kg or less, and corresponding to the latest Technical Instructions for the Safe Transport of Dangerous Goods by Air. Your Flight Services Team can provide further information on the proper packing of ammunition..
What is an empty leg?
When a One Way Jet Charter Flight is booked, many times, the aircraft has to return to it's original airport. In a case like this, the plane will be flying empty. This is known as an empty leg flight. Because the aircraft operators like to make money if possible, they offer these empty leg flights for much less than a typical air charter would cost.
